He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Mary Helen Mickel, Four children, Larry Mickel (Suzanne), Don Mickel (Brenda), Charlotte Schierbaum (Allen) and Vicki Parker (Chris). Nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
For the past 3 years he enjoyed being a Wal-Mart greeter in Maumelle.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Friday, November 6th at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Rd., North Little Rock. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 7th at Rest Hills funeral home.
