Rosemary Merideth Jurado was born on December 5, 1934 in Columbus, Ohio; the daughter of Chester Arthur Merideth and Laura Louise Emfield. The Lord called Rose home from this life on October 22, 2021.
Rosemary was joined in holy matrimony with her husband Alfred Reuben Jurado for 50 years. She was an Air Force wife who made friends wherever they were stationed throughout his career. Her passions in life were spending time with family, bowling, arts and crafts, square dancing, camping, yard sales, and attending all the families youth sports events.
Rosemary is survived by her husband Alfred Jurado, sons Scott Ayers and his wife Karen, Bill Ayers and his wife Rose, Michael Ayers and his wife Lisa, Jamie Ayers and his wife Kim, and a daughter Violet “Peanut” Cobb and her husband Paul, and a son-in-law John Marcum. She also leaves to cherish her memories 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, brother Wayne Merideth, sisters Charlene Bossard and Delores Merideth, daughters Connie Lynn Ayers and Vicki Sue Marcum, nephew Johnny Merideth and a grandson Billy Ayers.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation was chosen, and a memorial service will take place Thursday, October 28, 2021 beginning at 1:00 pm at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills. Inurnment will be held privately on Friday, October 29, 2021at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in Sherwood, Arkansas.
