Sharlinda Faith Bennett

Sharlinda Joshua-Bennett was born on August 6, 1983 at 5:18 AM in Little Rock, Arkansas to Patricia Joshua and Sheldon Joshua. She left this earth on March 12, 2023 at 11:14 PM in Little Rock, Arkansas at the young age of 39. Sharlinda had a love for the arts at a young age, she loved to write, draw, dance and ice skate. She was also a very academic person and loved to further her education. She obtained her certificate to be a Licensed Practical Nurse from the Arkansas State Board of Nursing, Associate of Applied Science Registered Nursing from the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville, Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and had plans to become a Nurse Practitioner in the future. She worked at the VA hospital as a Registered Nurse and had a passion for helping others. She married her husband, Nickolas Bennet on October 1, 2005. They have six beautiful children together, and she adored spending time with her children and her husband, this was the most important thing in her life. She was of Christian faith and loved the Lord and spreading his word. Sharlinda was preceded in death by her father, Sheldon Joshua. She is survived by her mother, Patricia Joshua of Sherwood, Arkansas; her husband, Nickolas Bennett; her children: Nickolas Jr Bennett, Emily Bennett, Allison Bennett, Caroline Bennett, Mackenzie Bennett and Noah Bennett of Ward, Arkansas; her brothers: Jonathan Joshua, Sheldon Joshua and his wife, Cassandra Joshua and Joseph Joshua and his wife, Korryna Joshua of Sherwood, Arkansas; her grandmother, Frances Joshua of Chicago, Illinois as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts and many colleagues and friends. A funeral service celebrating Sharlinda’s life will be held at First Baptist Church Sherwood, 701 Country Club Rd., Sherwood, AR on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 1:00 P.M.
