

She was born on February 2, 1934, in Booneville, Arkansas, to Robert H. Gatlin Sr. and Carmen E. Brasher Gatlin.
Suda was employed for many years by J. Freeman & Co. in Little Rock, Arkansas, and later worked for Ferguson Custom Homes in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
An avid and accomplished bowler, Suda spent over 55 years traveling across the United States competing in tournaments. Her dedication to the sport earned her induction into the Central Arkansas Women’s Bowling Association Hall of Fame in 2005.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lewis Bailey; brothers, Robert H. (Helen) Gatlin Jr. and Jimmy (Esther) Gatlin; Mark Bailey; niece, Tina Bailey; and nephew, Billy Gatlin.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her niece, Linda Gatlin Hill; and nephews, Wayne Gatlin, Frank Gatlin, James Gatlin, Joe Allen Bailey, Porter Bailey, and Wayne Bailey.
Family and friends will gather on August 7, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at the Chapel at Rest Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72117. At 9:50 a.m., a funeral procession will lead family and friends to the graveside service at Rest Hills Memorial Park for a 10:00 a.m. service, officiated by Pastor Robert McDaniel.
