Terry Cruce, born February 28, 1947, in Union City, Tennessee, passed away surrounded by the love of his family on May 27th, 2026. He lived a life defined by devotion to God, family, and the outdoors he cherished so deeply.
A faithful Christian, Terry lived each day guided by strong Christian values, unwavering faith, and a deep love for God and Jesus Christ. His quiet strength, steady character, and servant’s heart were evident to all who knew him. He loved the Lord’s church and served as an elder for ten years.
Terry dedicated 22 years of his professional life to Edward Jones, where he built lasting relationships through his integrity, wisdom, and genuine care for others.
Outside of work, Terry was an avid outdoorsman who found his greatest peace in nature. He loved hunting, fishing, and canoeing — passions that reflected both his adventurous spirit and his appreciation for God’s creation. Some of his most treasured moments were spent outdoors and with the family he loved so dearly.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Doris Cruce, and his brothers, Damon Cruce and Phillip Cruce.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Shelia Cruce; his daughter, Holly Cruce, and the grandchildren he helped raise, Breanna and Tristin Cruce; his son, Hayden Cruce and wife Megan; and his cherished grandchildren, Jace and Sadie Cruce.
Terry’s legacy of faith, love, and quiet strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
