Val Zeh

Val Zeh, age 84 went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 27th, 2021. Val was born on February 22, 1937 in Grünstadt, Germany. She met her husband Karl, at Ramstein Air Force Base while he was stationed there in Germany.

They married on October 8th, 1960 and came to the US in 1962. They raised three children, Bob, Sue and Michele. Being a military family they moved back to Germany, to England and then to Arkansas in 1974.

She was an underwriter for AIG Insurance company for over 25 years and retired in 2004. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Little Rock. She was a member of Lutheran Women’s Missionary League which supported many charitable organizations. She served both as an officer and a member for many years. She was also a member of the Alter Guild.

Val was preceded in death by her mother, Elsa, her father, Ludwig, her two sisters Sieglinde and Christel.

She is survived by her husband Karl, her sister Elke, her son Bob (Jean), daughter Michele (Bryan), and her daughter Sue. She also has 2 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday December 30th 6-8 pm at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Rd., North Little Rock, AR 72117. Funeral services will be Friday December 31st 11 am at the First Lutheran Church, 314 East 8th Street, Little Rock, AR 72202. Burial will be Tuesday January 4th 12 pm at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 West Maryland Ave., North Little Rock, AR 72120.
