Virginia Lee Allen

Virginia Lee Allen, age 93, of North Little Rock, AR passed away on June 9, 2026. She was born to Ada and Lloyd Mitchell and was a member of Baring Cross Baptist Church. Over the years Virginia built a life centered on family, faith, and service and found joy in Crosswords, books, puzzles and family holidays. She leaves behind her daughters, Cindy (Jerry) Boone, and Margie (Ray) Nebling; grandchildren, Terri, Donny (Michelle); great grandchildren, Joshua, Lance (Haven), Allie, Christopher, Skylar, Deric, Kaylin, Adrian; great great-great grandchildren, Armoni and Cayden, Amauri; sister, Charlene McGee; and two nephews, Carl Curtis, and Bruce McGee.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Marion Allen; parents, Ada and Lloyd Mitchell her daughter, Marion Sowell; grandson, Jerry Boone Jr.,sister, Gladys Curtis, and nephew, Johnnie Curtis. We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation of the personnel of Life Touch, who provided exceptional Care and Compassion when we needed it most. And a special Thank you to Christy, Samantha, Chynia and Derrick, Sharon, Pam, Anna, Jordon, Bryce and to all those who provided support and care.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Monday, June 15, 2026, from 6PM-8PM at Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, AR, 72117. Funeral Service will be at 9:30 AM Tuesday June 16, 2026, officiated by Rev. Preston Huffstuttler at Rest Hills Funeral Home with burial to follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, AR.
