Wanda was a member of Harmony Baptist Church of Sherwood, Arkansas where she shared her talent of being the organist for many years. She was also a talented seamstress and avid gardener. She had a big heart for animals and enjoyed caring for them.
Wanda is predeceased by her loving husband of 39 years, Troy Carroll Choate; her mother, Evelyn Virginia Redmond of Tennessee, and her father, Thomas Raymond Anderson of Tennessee. She is survived by her 3 children, Raymond Glenn Choate of Sherwood, AR; Vicki Lynn Choate of Jacksonville, AR; and Brenda Carol Steinsiek (Rodney) of East End, AR; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a dear friend who she treasured, Sandy Parker, and a host of other friends.
A visitation for Wanda will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, AR 72117. A celebration of life will occur Tuesday, August 26, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, AR 72117. A burial will occur Tuesday, August 26, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, AR 72117.
