My deepest sympathy to the family for the loss of one of the truly finest people I have ever known. Bill Oldfield was always kind, patient, smart, humorous and caring...not only to me over the years, but to my family after they came along. He appears in many of my favorite childhood (and later) memories - and will always abide there, as well as in my heart. My thanks to Bill and Ruth Oldfield for shining some of their light on me, and for bringing my dear friend, Billie, into the world. May you all find comfort in this time of loss, and may Bill be enjoying the glorious homecoming so well earned from a life well-lived. Warmest regards and sincere condolences, Gail Talley-Price
