I wanted to thank Barry before his passing. He reached out to me to contact my father as we had a falling out. We mended things and before I had a chance to thank him he was gone. He and my dad have been friends since I was a kid. Miss you Barry.

Barry, I really miss you every day. I miss the daily phone calls & the many laughs that we shared over the years. God speed, and hope you are in a happy place.

Barry was one of my first close childhood friends who I met when I was 4 or 5, living down the block from him.  We had great times playing stoop ball, riding bikes, and his father teaching us how to box with new boxing gloves he got. We reconnected many years later on FB and learned that he lived near my mother.  He always talked proudly of his children and always had concerns for my mother.  He had a good soul.

I miss you dad and can't stop thinking about you. I love you Pop tell Nana and Gramps I say hi and I will see you when the time is right. I promise to continue to make you proud everyday. I love you always and forever.

BARRY WILL BE MISSED BY ALL OF HIS CO-WORKERS. REST IN PEACE.

My closest years with Barry were when we were kids growing up in Scranton. Many of my cousins were just a few blocks away so naturally we were in each others houses a lot. Barry was a year earlier than me so he was the "younger" cousin and a great kid.

One of my fondest memories of Barry was how close he was to my mom and dad. My mother was a prolific letter writer and she and Barry shared a long exchange of letters when he was in his late teens/early twenties. She always spoke very highly of Barry.

My Dad had some rough years after my mother died, and Barry was a staunch friend to him, even taking time from his personal schedule to visit him for days at a time. Barry was a real friend in need and for that I had and have the highest respect and regard for him.

After Barry's move to Florida I didn't see him often, just during the occasional trip to Florida when visiting my wife's family there. Still, I always knew I had a cousin there and never realized that the day could come when he would be gone.

Barry was a good and caring soul, fiercely loyal to friends and family, who served his country in the National Guard and helped to make the world a safer place for stay-at-homes like me. May his memory be a blessing to all of us who must remember and carry on.

Barry was a cousin and a friend.  We spoke often and he always had great concern for my elderly father with whom he kept close contact.  His loss will leave a void in many lives.
