Beverlee Edell a beloved mother, devoted wife to Joseph Earl Edell of nearly 74 years and compassionate philanthropist passed away peacefully on September 5, 2024, at the age of 93. Her departure leaves a void that can never be filled, but her legacy of kindness, generosity, and love will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Born on January 27, 1931, in Newark, New Jersey Beverlee Edell was a beacon of light to everyone she met. She dedicated her life to her family, raising her children with boundless love, wisdom, and care. Her gentle spirit and nurturing nature were the foundation of her family's strength and unity.
Beyond her role as a mother, Beverlee Edell was deeply committed to philanthropy. She believed in giving back to her community and spent countless hours supporting various charitable causes and held positions on many boards.
Beverlee Edell will be remembered for her selfless nature, her unwavering commitment to helping others, and her ability to make everyone she meets smile and laugh.
She is survived by her loving children, Susan, and Marc her cherished 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends who will miss her dearly.
A private memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 8,2024, to celebrate her beautiful life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Breast Cancer Association or Alzheimer’s Association a cause close to her heart.
Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
