Frances Wenger Steinfeld Liberman was loved and admired by everyone she knew. As a child of the Holocaust, she triumphed over the atrocities and not only survived but prospered . From Lodz Poland to the Lodz Ghetto, to Auschwitz to Theresienstadt to Sudetenland to Ellis Island, she maintained a resilience and resolve that few young people could achieve. She had a charmed life with her husband Simon (Sam) Steinfeld in Chicago and Miami and after Sam's passing in 1980, found true love again with her love and husband of 32 years, Stuart Liberman. Her charming smile, upbeat personality, and genuine love for her friends and family was infectious and lasting. She leaves a legacy of temerity and will power. She is survived by daughter, Rita Steinfeld Regev, and son, Charles Steinfeld and grandchildren, Assaf Regev, Nadav Regev, Amit Regev and Adam Steinfeld. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chabad of Aventura and Haddassah Women's Organization.
