Jean was a dear friend.  Always kind, and her paintings were always inspiring.  Her sense of design was amazing - she often re-arranged my ceramic displays to great advantage!  and she was much loved.  Terry (Parise) Green

Jean was always ready to help!  When I had some sculptures on display in the Art Ctr windows in Miami Bch, she re-arranged them for me, which was a HUGE improvement!  She was loving and caring.  I miss her very much.



Jean was a cherished, supportive friend.  I met her when I lived in Miami Beach in the 80s and 90s.  She was so generous in sharing her talents - I loved her abstract paintings!  When I would make a display of my sculptures in a Lincoln Road window, she would come and re-arrange the whole thing so that it caught the eye of passers-by.  She had an innate ability to arrange her world in artistic patterns.  She also invited me to dinner occasionally, and was an outstanding, creative cook.  I missed her dearly when I moved away.  Rest in Peace, dear Jean.  I love you.  Terry Green

Jean was quirky, smart and oh so stylish. Even in her 80's she dressed in  stylish tights usually in NY'er black.  I loved her stories of NY, the art world, who she met (Woodstock Bob(by)Dylan), her adventures in Palm Beach, her boyfriends, and her art.  

She was opinionated (who isn't) and was not hesitant to tell you what she thought.  Loved dogs and speaking to them "woof woof". Still had photos of her beloved one and only Standard Poodle.  

Sorry, she passed away and I had lost touch with her. I still think of her often and an article on Art & NYC resulted in a search and learning of her passing. RIP Jean.  Nellie
