Ms. Madansky you were the nicest English teacher I had. I till this day remembered you as the sweetest lady and I am so sad to know you passed away!!! May you rest in paradise, you were an excellent person!! Love always!! Diana, one of your students from back in 2002. 

I will truly miss Linda's quick wit and concern for others.  We were sorority sisters (Sigma Kappa) at Ball State Teachers College and roommates for a semester.  We have remained in contact for over 52 years.  My thoughts and prayers go out to Debi and Linda's family.  Through all of her health challenges, she always kept a positive outlook.  I'm so happy she was able to travel in her later years and spend time with Lloyd. She will always be in the memory of her family, friends and students because of the imprint she made in all of our lives.

Mrs. Madansky, I was not a student of yours, but many of my friends had you as their teacher. Teachers like you do not exist anymore. I used to see you and Mrs. Fenner carpool each morning. It looked like you and her were two great friends just enjoying life. Great memories of high school. My condolences to your family.

I have known Lin since 1965. We roomed together while going to Tulsa University. After school we both went different directions. She kept up with my many moves.
People have many friends in life but there are only a handful of true friends. She was a true friend. She would do anything for you and was always there when you needed her.  I am glad that she had such good care in the past years by Carol. My prayers go out to Debbie and family and Carol.

Condolences to Lin's family and her dear friend Carol. She just recently shared a room in rehab with my step-mother Sidonia and I saw Lin everyday and Carol on many days until I flew home on 1/29. She was a delight to talk with and had a sense of humor. We are so sad to be finding this news online.

Mrs. Madansky was a lovely teacher and she always was telling her jokes. She was sweet and kind. She will always had a positive attitude. My prayers goes to her family.

Lin was my English teacher at G. Holmes Braddock Sr. High and I enjoy being in her class. My prayer go out to the family and I  wish can be at the funeral. You will be miss Lin.

It saddens to learn about the passing of founding faculty member Linda Madansky who taught English and was G. Holmes Braddock SHS first Yearbook adviser. Linda loved teaching and her students very much. She was a huge support when I served as Editor in Chief of the ENTHEOS yearbook. She never questioned when I missed her class for a deadline, She just understood the stress and was a cheerleader and motivator always.

The last time I spoke with her a few years back she gave me this message to share with her all her former students.

“Teaching is a lot like waiting tables; It's giving you your menu, and guiding you through it so you can make the best choices integrity, humor and compassion…Bon Appetite! It was an honor to serve you (No tip required!!)—Ms. Linda Madansky

May God Bless my English teacher whose kindness has echoed through the halls of our dear G. Holmes Braddock  Senior High School.
