

Mary Charles Bush-Reid was born on February 18, 1939 in Albany Georgia to parents Willie and Eva Sanders-Bush. She attended Camilla Consolidated High School (Camilla, Georgia) and graduated in 1957. Mary moved to Miami, Florida in 1958 where she met the love of her life, Mr. Henry Reid Jr. The two were joined in the union of marriage in 1959. To that union they had two sons.
In her lifetime, Mary Charles Bush-Reid has accomplished many wonderful things. In her Christian walk Mary did much in her life for the service to God and others.
Additionally, Mary worked diligently at the following;
• Mechanic Uniform Serving as Shop Steward for the Union Local 218
• Elected official for Dade County Department of Housing and Community Development-2010
• Worthy Matron-Chapter 243-International Masons and Eastern Star-20 years
• President of West Little River Homeowners and Tenants Association
• Member of Usher Board #1 at FBCB
• Sat on the mothers board at FBCB
• Faithful member of First Baptist Church of Brownsville for over 50 years
Mary was called home on July 4, 2016 at 9:30 AM.
She leaves to mourn a loving and dedicated husband, Henry Reid Jr.

Two living brothers, Bobby Angry and Willie Morris
Two sons, Tony V. Reid (Betty Reid- Wife) and Neal E. Reid (Mildred Reid- Wife)
Seven grandchildren, Sheneice White, Sean White, Andre Stewart, Antonio Reid, Tiffany L. Reid, Ashley Reid, Neal E. Reid Jr., Brittany Reid
Two great-grandchildren, Shandrell Stewart and Maliyah Walker
