

He was the beloved husband of Sandra, devoted father of Mark (Jessica) Schneider of Tampa and Charles Schneider, loving grandfather (Saba) to Lila and Risa Schneider, adored brother of Ruthie Shoulov and Sari Shamir, cherished uncle of Ronit (Michael) Goldenberg, Orli (Jason) Rudolph, and Esther (Sebastian) Silva.
Michael was born in Poland and grew up in Israel where he served in the army. He came to the U.S. in 1953 and graduated from Milwaukie School of Engineering and the University of Miami as an industrial engineer. Michael owned and operated AAA Air Conditioning on Miami Beach for 30 years. During that time he also served the City of Miami Beach on the Convention Center Expansion Authority and as a Housing Commissioner. He very much enjoyed owning and operating residential and commercial properties and venturing with partners into export, travel, and restaurant businesses.
Michael loved to travel all over the world with his wife and close friends. His favorite place was the Dead Sea in Israel which he visited many times.
Michael was loved for his generosity and sense of humor, which was enjoyed by all who came in contact with him. He especially enjoyed new challenges and entered into each venture with gusto and zest. He brought light and happiness wherever he went. Michael will be missed by his family, friends, and the many people he has helped.
Family members will be receiving friends on Tuesday, Feb. 4th from 3 - 4 PM followed by a memorial service at 4 PM at Riverside Gordon Memorial Chapel, 20955 Biscayne Boulevard, Aventura. Shiva will be observed following the service on Tuesday night only, at the Cricket Club, 1800 NE 114th Street, Miami, in the Reflection Room.
