Milton "Milt" Jacobs, 99, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2026, in Tampa, Florida.
He was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Samuel and Ethel (nee Raab) Jacobs. He proudly served in the Army Air Corps and later received a bachelor degree in Business Administration from Western Reserve University. He spent most of his life in Hollywood, Florida where he built a life devoted to his family and career. He was a past president and dedicated member at Temple Beth El.
Milton enjoyed reading, a good meal, football, playing sudoku on his iPad and time with family. He will be remembered for his unwavering support, encouragement and wisdom leaving a lasting impact on those who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Thalia (nee Munter), his siblings Sigmund Jacobs and Florence "Honey" Liff, and son-in-law James Mead.
Milton is survived by his loving children: Renee Jacobs (Joseph Hecht), Sandra Mead, David Jacobs (Debi Sizer), cherished grandchildren: Kenneth Hecht (Amy Augustine), Lauren Hecht (Elliot Lourie), Sarah Denney (Eric), Katherine Stevens (Adam), and treasured great-grand children: Audrey, Theodore, Violet, Zachary, Otto and Elizabeth.
Milton will be laid to rest next to Thalia at Temple Beth El Memorial Gardens on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (now Breakthrough T1D) or the American Lung Association in honor of Milton's life and legacy.
