Renee Helene Silver

Renee Helene Silver, 71, of Williams Island, Aventura passed away on December 16, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Joseph, and was a devoted mother to son, Scott. She was a loving, fun sister-in-law to Jill and Carole, and treasured aunt and great aunt. Renee was a wonderful, adored friend. She loved life and lived it to the fullest.

Born on January 20, 1946 in New York to Robert and Janet Adler, grew up in Queens and then Great Neck, New York, met her dearly loved husband Joseph in 1964, and married in 1968.

Services will be on Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017 at 12:30 PM, Riverside Gordon Memorial Chapel, 17250 West Dixie Hwy, North Miami Beach, Florida 33160 with interment to follow at Lakeside Memorial Park in Doral , Florida.

Donations in lieu of flowers to be sent to the American Cancer Society or the Center for Hearing and Communication located in New York City.

Gathering after service or Shiva will be held at 7000 Island Boulevard, Apartment 2601, Williams Island, Aventura, Florida on Tuesday, from 6-8 pm, Wednesday, from noon to 2 pm and 6-8 pm, Thursday, from noon to 2 pm and 7-9 pm, and Friday from noon to 2 pm.
