Richard Dunn was born in New York, but became a long time resident of South Florida. He passed away on his birthday, July 7, 2015, from complications of diabetes. He is survived by his wife and soul mate of many years, Judith Strauss Cole, daughter Duree Dunn Mandel, son Gregg Dunn, 3 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Richard was an avid lover of sports, animals, books, and life in general, always looking on the bright side. He played basketball for Miami High and graduated from Purdue University. After serving in the Navy during World War 2, Richard spent many years in the South Florida car business retiring a few years ago. His death leaves a major void in the lives of his loved ones.
