Rosalyn Weiss Gross

Rosalyn Weiss Gross. Born June 12, 1926, died September 13, 2014. Adored wife of Dr. Martin Gross, Purple Heart WWII veteran, 9th Infantry Division, but his true heart was his beloved Roz. So lucky to find each other late in life, they shared true wedded bliss cruising and holding hands. Widow of Bernard “Bob” Max Weiss, after 55 years of marriage. Children Jaclyn Beth Stevens (Ronald), Navah Nancy Weiss Turin, Debra Weiss Goodstone (widow of Ray Goodstone), Janet & Bill Schnall, Barbra & Richard Weinberg, Andrew Gross & Linda Koenig. Sister Estelle Grossman. Grandchildren Andrew & Jason Stevens, Alexandra & Marissa Goodstone, Dov & Reuven Turin, Lisa & Amy Schnall, Laura (Robb) Kovall, Matthew Weinberg (Arielle Gordon), Benjamin Gross. Great grand child Sophia Kovall. Nieces and nephews Laura Nissim (Daniel), Barry Grossman (Caryn), Martin Grossman (Wendy).

Roz and Bob moved to Miami Beach in the 1940s. Owned and operated the Essex House, Marseilles & South Seas Hotels in Miami Beach. An incredible mother, wife and friend, she opened her heart and home to all she met. She will be truly missed.
