Ruben was one of my favorite people. I met him when he bought eyeglasses from my store. I've been searching for him for a while but I could not remember his last name, until I found a book he gave me by Edgar Cayce. I know he lived a long fulfilling life, but I'm still sad just finding out he's gone. 

I loved Ruben! About 15-20, years ago, he stayed at my house next door to the ARE for a long weekend conference plus a lunch meeting with Kevin.  He had never stayed here before and sent me a tin of delicious chocolate chip cookies before his arrival. I remember that he wanted 6 pillows for the bed and 2 clean towels each day. He told me interesting stories about raising money for the ARE by cooking suppers in the small kitchen in the "hospital" building on the hill.

Ruby was one of the most interesting  character in my life. God lead me to Dr. Miller at a time when I needed a job,love and a lot of support .I worked one year for Dr. Miller as his housekeeper  which I can my self his domestic engineer. We shared so many stories of life,love sadness Joy's and most of all the celebration  of life every  day. I loved cooking  along side of him he liked to saute  apples  in  a skillet  with olive  oil delicious.  He loved having manicures once he found out I was a nail technician.  I celebrate  his life with  so much joy because  I know he is with his enternally family in heaven. GODSPEED RUBEN MILLER  GODS APPOINTED  ANGEL.  I will cherish all the special moments  I spent with your uncle because he truly made a difference  in my life he gave me love and confidence to be able to stand strong.  Love you Ruben may God hold you in the palm of his hand and the enternally light shine upon you until we meet  again your loving friend Mary Terheyden  Guinan  xoxo.


Ruben...an amazing person...to know him was to love him.
Always a smile and full of information.  Ruben was multifaceted and full of fascination of the world, the universe and all things  imaginable. I am grateful to have known him and grateful for his many kindnesses.
