Williams Island, Florida - Wilma passed away peacefully just one week short of her 91st birthday. A remarkable woman with many talents, she will be missed by all whose lives she touched and with the legacy she leaves.
She will be missed by her daughter Beth Felder (Rich Siegel) and their children Monica and Rachel, and by son Lewis (Stacey) Felder and their children Michael (Courtney), Marley, and Aaron as well as countless friends and colleagues.
Wilma loved life and lived it to its fullest. An intrepid traveler she collected more experiences than "tchotchkes."
A former President of the League of Women Voters, she utilized her skills and abilities in various management positions within the Miami-Dade County government. She was subsequently promoted to Director of Purchasing at Miami International Airport by County Manager Merrett R. Stierheim.
In her "retirement" she gained leadership roles when she was voted onto the Property Owner's Association (POA) of Williams Island. She expanded the cultural offerings to include a Film Series, as well as organizing trips to the Arsht Center and Gablestage.
The Funeral will take place on Monday, June 9, 2025, 11:00 a.m., at Riverside Gordon Memorial Chapels, 17250 W Dixie Highway, North Miami Beach, FL 33160.
A celebration of an extraordinary life, will be at The King Ballroom on Williams Island, 4500 Island Boulevard, on Monday June 9, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m.
