Reverend Almedia Clark was born April 29, 1935 to the parentage of the late Mr. L. S. Cupe and the late
Annie Bell Cupe in Shorterville, Alabama.
She received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at the age of 12 years during an in home revival.
God began to manifest His mighty presence in her life.
She was educated in the Henry County School System and subsequently worked in Cosmetology as a hairstylist also working within the Healthcare System, while demonstrating love and compassion for others.
Reverend Almedia Clark met and married Ernest Clark, to this union two beautiful children were born.
This woman of God submitted to God’s calling on her life. She was devoted, trustworthy being
anointed with God’s empowerment and favor. These were all attributes to the journey that God set
before her, a journey marked by her unwavering faith in God.
She made a difference in the lives of so many family and friends. She will truly be missed and never forgotten.
On Tuesday, February 11, 2025, our dearly beloved Almedia responded to the Masters call and
transitioned peacefully to her heavenly home.
Precious memories will forever be cherished by her loving daughter, Aldean Clark, her sisters:
Viola Patterson of Oxford, AL, Christine Clark of Newark, NJ, and Elizabeth Cupe of Greensboro,
NC, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, church families and friends.
A special thanks to her devoted Pastor Kimberly and Deacon Frank Scott, and Mr. Marvin
Hughley. She was preceded in death by her parents, L. S. and Annie Bell Cupe, her husband Ernest Clark, son Patrick Clark and eight siblings.
