With Christ as her personal savior, Delores became a member of Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church in Miami, Florida under the pastoral leadership of Reverend Dr. George E. McRae.
She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and caregiver during the last days of her life. Delores' rose was plucked from the garden of heaven at 3:15 am on Sunday, March 11, 2012.
