

Ms. Edmonia Moses, a cherished daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend, was born on September 11, 1957, in Vidalia, Georgia, to the late Eddie and Vernell Moses. In her early childhood, she relocated with her family to Miami, Florida, where she was raised and where she cultivated lifelong connections that shaped the woman she became.
Edmonia was educated through the Miami Dade County Public Schools system and proudly graduated from Miami Central High School in 1976. Throughout her life, she worked in several roles beginning as a cashier, then a store cook, and eventually building a long and committed career with the United States Postal Service as a mail sorting clerk. Her dedication, strong work ethic, and perseverance left an enduring impression on everyone she worked with.
On March 10, 2026, the roll call of heaven was answered for Edmonia. She transitioned peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and devotion that will remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
Edmonia leaves loving memories to her four children: Ingrid Moss, Adoria Moss, Kenneth Moss Jr., and Keith Moses; two cherished grandchildren: Jasmine and Jaylen; three brothers: James, Charles, and Henry; and six siblings who preceded her in death. Special friends Linda and K.T. Posey and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, and family.
Edmonia’s life was a testament to endurance, compassion, and grace. Her memory will continue to shine in the stories shared, the love she gave, and the lives she helped shape.
