and full of life. During his ventures he fell in love and married Jeannette Jacquexila Fonrose in
1953. The newlyweds relocated to City Cap-Haitian, Haiti. Elius was blessed with 7 biological
children but he was known as a father figure to many. Elius loved his community, life, and most
of all was a man of God. In his later years Elius always found a way to incorporate God in his
life. He served in many Church committees, volunteered, and assisted any/everyone that he
could. His passion was to live Christ like and be a helping hand to everyone he came encounter
with.
Elius was a Great Man and lived a Great Life! He was a jack of all trades, he was a tailor, driver,
and an entrepreneur to name a few.
Elius has blessed/touched so many lives during his time here on earth. He was a great father,
grandfather, cousin, and friend. Whenever you were in his company, you had his undivided
attention. He made sure to make you feel comfortable and loved. We will miss Elius
tremendously he was truly one of a kind. His smile, genuine love, and his compassion for
people will always be missed.
Family, friends we can find strength and welcome peace knowing that our dear Elius is in a
better place now. A verse that comes to mind is John 8:51 Jesus said, “Very truly I tell you,
whoever obeys my word will never see death”. Elius is now smiling down on us from heaven
sitting right next to his maker.
