In loving memory of Harold B. Wint
June 7, 1942 – June 23, 2025
Harold B. Wint was promoted to glory on June 23, 2025, after succumbing to long-term health issues. He
was with his beloved wife of 55 years, Jascinth, and family.
Harold was born in May Pen, Clarendon, Jamaica on June 7, 1942 to Egbert and Daisy Wint. At the age of 15, Harold made what he described as the greatest decision of his life, placing his faith in Jesus Christ. This decision marked the beginning of a lifelong pursuit of a deeper relationship with the Lord, studying His Word, and evangelizing the lost.
While working as Manager at the Bank of Scotia in May Pen, he met Jascinth “Mickey” Graham, the love of his life. They were married on June 20,1970 at the local Methodist Church.
After emigrating to the U.S., Harold and his family were active members in several local churches in New
York and Florida. Harold served as an elder, greeter, choir member, youth and Vacation Bible School
teacher, and occasional preacher.
Harold’s creative talents were evident in his drawing and writing throughout his life. In 2012, he published
With You in Mind, a collection of poems reflecting his love for the Lord, his affection for his wife, and his political fervor. He held strong views on many current political issues, rooted in his commitment to
scriptural principles.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jascinth, and their children: Dylan (Tricia), Kamaye (Manny), Stacey-Anne (Peter) and Christine (Jerry), as well as his grandchildren: Marissa (Rusty), Devon (Jasmine), Manny(Marissa), Joshua, Kalecia, Omar (Alexa), Lydia, Kamani, Jonah, Sriya, Jacob, and Malachi, and their great-grandchildren, Zayli, Adonis, and Jahziel. He is also survived by his brothers, Joseph and Hubert(Yvonne), as well as many beloved nephews, nieces, and dear friends. He was predeceased by his beloved father and mother, and nine siblings.
Harold’s overarching passions in life were the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word. He actively worked to
share the truth so that the lost, especially family members, would come to Christ. We rejoice in knowing
that he is in the presence of the Lord and Savior that he loved so much!
“Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that
you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope.” 1 Thessalonians 4:13
