Born Jacques Antoine Marie Francois Eusèbe in Cap-Haitien North on June 15, 1936, to Ena Eusèbe and Jean Marie Vincentelli. Raised by his Aunt Constance, he spent most of his youth in Plaisance North Haiti.
In 1958 he was awarded a student work visa to Puerto Rico with the company National Cash Registry (NCR) to learn more about and work in the technology field. While in Puerto Rico he attended the Rio Piedras SDA church where he met his beloved wife Maria Isabel Sanchez Colón. They married in 1958 and soon after Jacques and Isabel moved to Haiti where they had their first two children, Frantz-Lee and Jacques Jr. They then returned to Puerto Rico where their two daughters, Gina and Nancy, were born. While in Puerto Rico, he pursued his career in IT work while traveling all over the island (La Isle del El Encanto) as well as helping his wife achieve her nursing degree.
Papi Jacques always kept in touch with his extended family; financially supporting as many as possible. And with his beloved wife, Isabel, he contributed to their education as he did with his “adopted son” Clark, enabling them to attend The Seminaire Adventist de Diquini.
In 1972 Jacques and his family moved to Boston, Massachusetts where he devoted his life to the church, the community, and human and social services. He never stopped pursuing new knowledge. He graduated from Atlantic Union College with a degree in Human Behavior. Then having married all their children, in 1991 Jacques and Isabel moved to Florida for a warmer climate where Jacques focused on Public Health Education and layman ministries.
He was loved by many, mentored many, and many called him Papi Jacques.
Jacques Eusèbe, 90, of Miramar, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2026, surrounded by his daughters and nurses. His passing leaves a profound emptiness in the hearts of all who knew and loved him, yet his life remains a lasting legacy of faith, family, and service to others.
Jacques is survived by his children Frantz-Lee (Numa) Eusèbe, Gina Bispham, Nancy (Dwayne) Franklin, Ricardo Colón, and Obed Eusèbe, and his “adopted son” Clark; his grandchildren Zayra, Tanya, Stephan, Adrian, Sean, Christopher, Michael, Cassandra, Darian, Amora, Ricardo, Melissa, Jonathan, Yovani; his siblings Josette Leger, Anne Marie Auguste; his daughter-in-law Vivien Eusèbe; along with 19 great-grandchildren, many extended family members, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Maria Isabel Eusèbe; brother Rolande Eusèbe; sisters Anne Marie Baumier, Yolette Vincentelli; and son Jacques Eusèbe, Jr.
Although Papi Jacques is no longer with us, his legacy will live forever in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
