James Carl Smith

James Carl Smith, age 75, of North Miami, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2025. Born on June 28, 1949, in Willard, New York, Jim was the beloved son of the late Howard Smith and Elizabeth Carroll.

Jim completed his primary education in Willard and went on to earn his bachelor's degree. He dedicated his professional life to serving others as a medical supplier in the home health care industry, where he built a reputation for compassion, integrity, and hard work.

Jim is survived by his devoted wife of 42 years, Mary E. Smith, and their two sons, Michael J. Smith and Steven C. Smith (Maggie). He also leaves behind his loving brothers: Richard (Sonya), Robert (Kim), and Roger (Donna) Smith.

A visitation to honor and celebrate Jim’s life will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Caballero Rivero Southern, 15011 West Dixie Highway, North Miami, FL 33181.

Jim will be remembered for his warm heart, steady presence, and unwavering commitment to his family and community. His memory will live on in all those who were fortunate to know and love him.
