

As a young person, he served in the Haitian military as a Marine which allowed him to explore other countries. In September 26, 1981 Brother Jules married Marie Micheline Celestin in Haiti. They were blessed to give birth to two children in Haiti (Sherly and Walker). Seeking for a better life, he moved his family to Miami, Florida in 1990. There the couple gave birth to their third child (Diana).
In Miami, Brother Jules worked several types of jobs to support his family. His last job was with the City of Miami Solid Waste Department for which he worked 20 years and retired in 2021. Brother Jules was a member of the Church Eglise Evangelique Rehoboth Inc in Miami, FL and was a faithful servant of the lord for more than 40 years.
He loved his home town and worked with his late brother Francois Saurel Jules to organize a ministry in Haiti. Together they helped a church in their home town Aux Cayes and supported the establishment of a school in the area that aided 152 children in learning to read and write.
Brother Jules was known as a gentle soul. He was always kind, slow to anger, easy to talk to and treated everyone with respect. He was always ready to listen to your concerns and give sound advice. The love that he had for his wife and kids was a love that is beyond understanding. He cared for his ailing wife for over 17 years without wavering.
On Monday April 29, 2024, Joseph Restal Jules was called home to be with the lord. He proceeds in death by his daughter, Nathalie Jules and leaves behind his wife Marie M. Jules; children: Sherly Jules-Fleury, Walker Jules, Diana Russ; son-in-laws: Samuel Fleury, David Russ; grandchildren: Denise Russ, Devin Russ; sister: Louisane Jules; cousins, nephews and nieces.
