Larry Glen Ricke

We are saddened to announce the death of Larry G. Ricke of Country Club of Miami on February 12 at the age of 91. He was a lifetime resident of Miami-Dade County coming here as an infant from Chicago with his parents Ed and Nona Ricke. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Diane Dale Ricke and his children Bruce (Susan), Laura Guffee, David (Linda), Alan (Cathy), Margie (Scott Givonetti), Teresa Bruckner (Mike), Andrew (Suzanne), Cathy, 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Larry was a master carpenter and a successful contractor. He had a very creative mind and used his talents developing artistic accents to his homes. His prolific art work includes paintings, sculptures in wood, metal, and clay, and “The Angel.”

Larry will be interred beside his oldest daughter, Sharon. Gravesite services will be at 3:00PM, February 22, 2025 at Caballero Rivero Southern Memorial Park 15000 West Dixie Highway, North Miami, Fl. 33181, (305) 940-6304. A celebration of life will follow at the funeral home at the same address between 4:00 and 8:00 PM.
