Laurent Sajous

Life Journey

Bishop Laurent Sajous was born on March 25,1935 in Port-Au-Prince Haiti, from the union of Justin Sajous and Suzane Joseph. In 1954 after Graduation Bishop left Haiti seeking a better opportunity for himself attending college in Jamaica. In 1956 his journey continued to The Bahamas Islands, where he started a family off three children. He worked mostly in the construction field and driving heavy tractor machineries. In 1975 Bishop Sajous continue his future journey moving to Miami Florida. In 1989 he married Ocianne Mercier Sajous.

Bishop heart was filled with generosity as demonstrated by his open door, and willingness to feed those in need. He was dedicated to the ministry of Indepent-Eglise-Dieu Par Le St Esprit Inc in Miami Florida.

Bishop was an excellent provider to his wife and congregation, although he was Very Strict. He instilled in us the importance of education, adaptation to change and integrity.

He is survived by his wife Ocianne Sajous, Sons Jesneur Sajous, Prince Paul Sajous, Gary Sajous, daughters Mimose Sajous, Yolene Cassimir, Wilda Demezier. Grandchildren Stephan Sajous, Ismael Sajous, Dr. Patrick Sajous Simon, Predencia Solange Sajous, Kayla Sajous, Kyra Sajous, Andrew Sajous, Daphney Wilson, Jude Dubuisson, and Christiano Reggie Deller.
