I met Lowell when I was very young in the late 80's. I left home in Maryland and moved to Florida. I did not have much and was very naive. He put me to work in his car wash where Lowell would unbeknownst to him become a very strong early influence in my life. I always wanted to look him back up and say thank you even though he probably would not remember me. I finally decided today to google him and call him. I was very saddened by the news of his passing. I am very sad for his family and friends loss. Lowell was larger than life and had a very subtle way of being profound. Through Lowell's encouragement I moved back home to my family and started my pursuit of happiness. He informed me that I did not belong there and that I needed to do something with my life. So I did. Lowell I just need to say THANK YOU! I will always remember you. OH and thanks for letting me use the Caddy on my occasional dates.
