Marie was born on December 26, 1926 to parents Netilia Robert and Eugene Gauthier. Marie was born in Camaguey, Cuba but grew up in her parent’s native land Port-Salut, Haiti along with her siblings. It was here that she would meet Isidor Lubin and the two would fall in love and produce two sons: Marcel and Paul Gauthier. She is survived by 2 brothers, Faustin and Enel Gauthier, 1 son, Marcel Gauthier, 5 grand-daughters, Mirline, Sabine, Biamca, Clarissa, and Taisha Gauthier, and 3 great grandchildren, Stephen Mondesir, Jayden Gauthier, and Stephania Gauthier. Through them and another future great grandchild on the way, her legacy continues. In her 93 years on this earth she enjoyed many things including good food, great music and above all the word of God. She will always be remembered for the strong, prayerful, and loving person she was.
