My fondest memories of Grandmother Taintor are baking and decorating sugar cookies in our house on Signal Mountain when she came to visit. Her fruit nut cookies were legendary, and her needlepoint marked major life events and important lessons like, "when life gives you lemons, make lemonade." 
She made sure to get her the families of her three sons together often, and I am so glad to have the relationships with our cousins that I do. 
We love and will miss Grandmother!
