Nadine was born to Ghislaine Alcide and Clebert Derenoncourt on February 22, 1978 in Kafou Fey, Port-de-Paix, Haiti. She was communed as a Christian at a very young age and was a God-fearing child. Living with both her mother and grandmother; these women were the foundation of her child-hood. She was loved deeply. Nadine was an ambitious student who had the desire to better her life.
In the year of 1995, she set her sights to Miami, Florida. Living in Little Haiti, she attended school to become a citizen. While living in Little Haiti, she met Clement of Clement’s Glass and Mirror in 1997. Nadine had no idea that this would be her life long soul mate. She was cautious with this man; although he was older and wiser than her, he also had 3 kids of his own (Bernadette, Nahomie, and Jean Jr). That didn’t deter her from allowing her heart to lead the way and in time their love grew.
Nadine aspired to be a scholar. She attended night school at North Miami Senior High where she graduated with her G.E.D high school diploma equivalent. She had many friends and was loved by her teachers.
Being raised as a single child herself; Nadine never imagine of becoming a mother. But as her love grew with Clement, she discovered she wanted a family with him. In the year of 1998, she became Mrs. Nadine Clement. Their love continued to blossom. In July 1999 she was blessed with a beautiful baby girl that she later named Paolina. Naming Paolina after her favorite character in a Hispanic soap opera she regularly watched while pregnant. Life was good. At this point she was a wife, a mother, and also a great supporter in her husband’s business as a secretary at Clement’s Glass & Mirror.
Nadine was ambitious and wanted to set the right example for daughter. Although maintaining a home was a tough job, she felt she could do more for the family. She wanted to contribute to the outside world with her vast talents. She went into the profession of Hospitality as a Housekeeper at New Port Beach Hotel. While there she was recognized for several accolades. Still her thirst for more was not quenched. Nadine wanted her talents to be used at a more distinguished hotel. She later took her talents to Fountainebleau as an assistant manager in the Housekeeping Department. She had a long career there and was loved by many of her colleagues and superiors.
While balancing motherhood and career, she earned her Associate Degree in Arts in 2014. She sought out more knowledge and obtained a certificate in Homeland Security in 2015. Nadine aspired to be all that she can be. While trying to find her place in life she grew a love for hair in 2015. This was different as having a young teenage daughter it seemed easy to get into fashion and hair. Which led her to attend the Beauty Schools of America to earn her degree in Cosmetology. There she gained more friends and a sense of independence.
After 16 years, Nadine wanted another child. In October 2015 Nadine was blessed with a handsome young boy named Sebastian. Her heart was filled with joy and her family was finally complete.
Due to unfortunate circumstances Nadine began to be sick in January 2018. Later causing her to be hospitalized due to a stroke in November of 2018 which led to her death. Nadine was a loving, compassionate person, a woman of God who will be dearly missed.
