

Norma migrated from Jamaica to England in the early 1960s before retiring to the United States in 1997. She settled in Port St. Lucie, Florida, with her husband of 48 wonderful years, Robert Lewis. A dedicated Registered Nurse, Norma was deeply passionate about her family and found joy in gardening, sewing, and exploring the world via cruises throughout her life.

Norma is survived by her loving son, Mark Johnson (England); her devoted daughters, Julienne Davis (Marsel) and Debbie Lewis (United States), her cherished grandchildren, Jaunita Davis, Antoinette Davis, Latoya Davis, and Kailan Johnson; her adored great-grandchildren, Corey, Christian, Mikayla, and Jace; and her beloved dog, Nova (“Novi”).
Norma will be deeply missed by her siblings: Winston Simpson (Icilda), Derrick Simpson (Joy), Pauline McKenzie (Herbie), Maxine O’Connor, and Sharon Lyttle (Martin).
Her memory will also live on through her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends who held a special place in her heart.
Norma was predeceased by her loving father, Sebert Simpson; her devoted mother, Floris Simpson; and her beloved brother, Dossell Simpson.
A viewing and home-going celebration for Norma will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025 starting at 10:00 AM at the Church of God New Life Worship, 7680 Pembroke Rd, Miramar, FL 33023. Following the homegoing celebration, she will be laid to rest at Caballero Rivero Southern Memorial Park, 15000 W. Dixie Hwy, North Miami Beach FL 33181.
