He completed his primary education and went on to earn an Associate Degree, setting the stage for a successful career in water transportation. As a skilled boat captain, Roberto’s expertise and love for the sea defined his professional life, earning him respect and admiration from all who knew him in the maritime community.

Roberto's life was a testament to his commitment to his family and his craft. Roberto was a beacon of strength and compassion, dedicating his life to his beloved son, Rey. His memory will live on through the stories shared by those who had the privilege of knowing him and through the waters he navigated with such care and skill.

He is survived by his son Rey, his loving parents, Roberto and Eusebia, and a host of family and friends who will deeply miss his presence.

Roberto Martinez Jr. will be remembered for his kindness, dedication, and the indelible mark he left on those fortunate enough to have crossed his path.
