Special Friend 
You and I  have known each other since 10th grade. Dreams and hopes we held inside us are cared so endlessly. Happy times with families and friends. As I think back on our friendship, how we’ve grown and where we’ve been. You were truly my friend and I thank God that he has blessed me with a very special friend.

Roger thank you for being a great mentor and friend.  When I needed an honest genuine opinion, you were the person I would text or call.  I will never forget our trips to South Africa and all the knowledge you shared with me, thank you for such amazing memories.  I am blessed to have met such a wonderful genuine friend and thankful that we spoke not too long ago, and I told you how much I appreciate you as a friend and how thankful I am to have you in my life. May you rest in eternal peace, you will never be forgotten.  To the Smith Family my deepest condolences to you and your loved ones, Roger was a great man and loved by many. 

To brother Roger Smith a man who was always kind and helpful to those he met. A man who enjoyed life to the fullest, and really enjoyed traveling to Africa (Thanks for the African Souvenir) Also thanks for the early wisdom and training you and your Sister/ Friend Margret Towner shared with me, a then new recruit just trying to navigate and learn the Do's and Don'ts of the job. To the Smith Family my deepest heartfelt condolences go out to you over the great loss of a great man.
