June 10, 1936 – May 8, 2026
(4 Weeks shy of 90yrs old)
Roger D. St Louis, beloved husband of 56 years, father, grandfather, friend, mentor, and master mechanic, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family. Born on June 10, 1936, Roger was the youngest of seven children — six boys and one girl — and the last surviving sibling of his family.
Roger is survived by his devoted wife, Marie, and his five children —
four sons, one daughter and a son-in-law — along with many grandchildren, extended family members, dear friends, and countless people whose lives he touched through his kindness, wisdom, and generosity.
Roger was known as one of the hardest working men anyone could meet. A gifted mechanic and engineer, he dedicated much of his career to refrigeration before later serving as an engineer in hospitality.
He loved working with his hands, building, repairing, creating, and helping others. Roger was always there when someone needed assistance. Whether it was fixing a machine, lending support, sponsoring someone in need, or simply offering advice, people knew they could lean on him. His loyalty, dedication, and dependable nature made him deeply respected by everyone who knew him.
Beyond his work ethic, Roger had a warm and vibrant personality. He enjoyed being around people, laughing with friends, telling stories, and bringing life wherever he went. He was truly the life of the party and someone whose presence made others feel welcome, comfortable, and cared for.
Roger leaves behind a legacy of strength, resilience, generosity, and unconditional love. He taught those around him the value of hard work, perseverance, creativity, and always helping others. His hands built and repaired many things throughout his life, but most importantly, he helped build a strong and loving family whose lives will forever carry his memory forward.
He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
“A man who worked with his hands, loved with his heart, and helped everyone he could.”
