My final years with the County were in DHS and that is where I met Tom.  What a super friend and co-worker he was to me.  Many a day I remember discussing issues with Tom and finding good feedback from him.  Honesty and integrity were two of his many qualities.  To his children I want to say, your dad was a wonderful person.

Tom was such a lovely human being. It was my good luck to have worked side by side with him for many years in the Elderly Services Division. What a gentleman, as in a truly gentle man, to be sure. My deepest sympathy to his children, of whom he was so proud, and to the rest of his family. He so deserves to rest in peace.

I had the pleasure of working with Tom from 1987 until 2007 when I retired.  Tom was a caring person who put family first and whom was a consummate public administration professional. His commitment to his fellow man was most evident throughout his career. He was most caring for his family and friends and he will be missed.

Tom was my friend and supervisor for over 20 years.  He was the sweetest and most compassionate person I've ever known.  Will miss you Tommy, all my love Pat.

I will always remember Tom as one of the most gentle and caring persons I have ever known.

I will always remember Tom as being a very dependable colleague and friend who always gave his best and never complained of any assignment. A very faithful deputy to me and the Division. I will miss him. His children must be proud of him.

We were so sorry to hear about Tommy's passing. Our deepest sympathy to you. I'll always remember the fun times we had when we were kids.
