William Robert Underwood

Born in North Miami on July 24 ,1953 a short 60 years ago. We gather here to recognize

my brothers passing on September 6,2013.Next to his enjoyment ,expertise and love of

motor cycles was his love and expertise of baseball that was demonstrated to the

family when graduating from North Miami Senior High School he got the call to try-out for

the Baltimore Orioles Major League Baseball Team.He spoke about that experience all the time.

His life took a change after that becoming a Union member of the I.B.E.W. which turned

into a 39 year life experience in community service with several awards and commendations

working for The Florida Power and Light Company. Which took him on many special assignments as

far away as California and many southern states working on large projects and almost every

hurricane reconstruction project we can remember thru those years.He married Sharon the live

of his life but after loosing her to cancer ten years ago he had to face the passing of our father

Tom, in 2007 and his favorite cousin Martha, then mom, Ellen in 2010.

Now we are here to mark his passing and in due remembrance of his compation for living,

accomplishments of his work and his life. He always helped out a friend or a person in real need.

Some times in life we think we can make it thru hardships on our own some times we need help . My

brother was at a point in his life he just thought he could handle everything.

For me I will miss the best friend and brother I will ever have and for his friends and the world

there will be a part missing especially in the lives of his friends.

God bless you my brother ,we will see you again one day.
