After the war, he was employed by the General Electric Company and served in numerous engineering and management positions at Bridgeport, CT, Schenectady, NY, Lynn, MA, Erie, PA, Milan, Italy, and Montreal and Toronto, Canada. He retired after 40 years with the company as Chairman and CEO of the Canadian General Electric Company. He served on the Conference Board of Canada. He was instrumental in developing U.S.-Canadian trade.
