

Anna Elizabeth Snapp, age 95, passed away at her home in Palm City, Florida on May 17, 2026. She was born in Lexington, Kentucky the daughter of Marion Dodd and Georgia (Aubrey) Dodd. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 58 years, Dairell J. Snapp, who departed in 2007. She is survived by a daughter, Suzanna (Snapp) Sperry of Gainesville, Florida and three sons, Dairell J. Snapp III of Hypoluxo, Florida, Robert M. Snapp of Dothan, Alabama and Stephen D. Snapp of Port St. Lucie, Florida. Anna is survived by eight grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
Before Anna became home-bound, she was fully involved in her church, active socially and volunteered both in her residential community, Sandhill Cove, and in Martin County, Florida. Anna was blessed to travel all over the world with her husband. After his death she continued to travel especially on cruises, which allowed her to enjoy three of her favorite pastimes, travel, bridge and dancing.
Anna loved the water and loved to fish. Both Anna and her husband, Dairell, were pilots and she loved to fly their Piper Saratoga SP Turbo. Something most people did not know is that Anna was one of a few women who are “Kentucky Colonels’.
A family only graveside service will be held at Riverside Memorial Park, 19351 SE County Line Road, Tequesta, Florida on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 12:00 Noon.
