Barbara Elaine Manning

She was born July 26th, 1936, in Chicago, Illinois to Clarence Jones and Frances (Lemon) Jones. She spent her early years in Birmingham, AL, later moving to West Palm Beach, FL where she met the late Francis (Frank) C. Manning Jr. They were married on February 24th, 1962, and grew their family to include three children - Jackie, Jennifer, and Michael and through them gained their spouses, Patrick Sedlak, Dr. Rod Gimbel and Karen Spuckler, and grandchildren, Shawn, Lauren, Hannah, Emma, Parker and Sadie.

Barbara was affectionately known by many nicknames by her family and friends; Bobby, Babs, Barb, Baba, and Robert and was well loved by her neighbors and too many friends to name. She was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind so many beautiful memories.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Barbara will be held Wednesday, August 2, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at St. Clare Catholic Church, 821 Prosperity Farms Road, North Palm Beach, FL 33408. Following the Mass of Christian Burial will be a graveside service from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 6411 Parker Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33405.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the ASPCA and local Humane Society.
