I will always remember how kind Bernice was to me, a kid of 17, @ her daughter's wedding to my brother. She made me feel right at home. I'm sorry I never knew her beyond that.

A great person has left the physical plane to enter the spiritual plane to join those who have remained in our hearts and welcomed her to their side. I can only feel sad in that she will miss future holidays with us all. But, she was able to see her great grandchildren before joining the ranks of angels that go with us everywhere in our hearts and minds. The fond memories will continue for some time to come. Always a part of our family. And, forever one of our guardians. Love now and always.

I will always remember the times that Nana and I stayed up late playing spite and malice (cards) and make the christmas cookies . She had amazing style, artistic talent, fantastic sense of humor and a quit wit. Words can not express how much I love and miss my Nana. She taught me how to be a lady. "Rest peacefully, Nana...we love you and thank you for all the memories" Kari and Craig Foreman (Grand-daughter)

Bernice was a gentle, caring woman...she liked to tell the stories of attending the Kentucky Derby with her husband...she brought her commemorative selection of glasses to my Kentucky Derby party a few years ago...she enjoyed the day with neighbors at Ports O' Call...as her upstairs neighbor, I was concerned of any possible noise I would make whether the usual or a work project...she always responded "don't worry, I am glad to see I have a good neighbor"...her spirit will be missed...another of the "Greatest Generation" to leave us...may she rest in peace...Brian Zwergel 28 Yacht Club Dr. Apt 409
