Beverley Beecroft Boyd

April 27, 1924 - October 26, 2026

Born in Syracuse, NY to Genevieve Kehoe Beecroft and Harold "Bee" Lloyd (zuber) Beecroft.

The family moved numerous times due to Bee's job (Syracuse, Buffalo, Philadelphia, Grosse Pointe, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Richmond and New Rochelle. She attended the Edgewood school for girls in Briarcliff Manor, NY.

They had a farm in Doylestown, PA where she met the love of her life at the swimming pool where he was a lifeguard.

She was married to Hugh Boyd III from July 10, 1944 until his death on May 31, 2002. With their sons, Mike and Greg, they lived in Aberdeen, Doylestown, Hatboro, Riverdale, Norwalk, Pittsburgh, and Tulsa. Bev and Hugh retired to Singer Island, Jupiter Island, and Tequesta. After Hugh's death Bev moved to La Posada in Palm Beach Gardens where she lived until her death.

Her life was filled with love, friendship, happiness, and comfort. She enjoyed her life with charm and poise.

She was always active as an aircraft spotter, realtor, antiques collector, DAR member, golfer, genealogist. She and Hugh loved to travel to Europe and throughout the U.S..

She was predeceased by her husband, Hugh Boyd lll; brother, Harold Lloyd "Bud" Beecroft Jr.; and daughter-in-law Francine Nekola Boyd.

Beverley is survived by her sons, Gregory and Michael; her grandchildren, Erin (Oscar) and Brian; great grandsons Jake, Alex, Ben, Charlie, Paul, and Owen; and her Beecroft nephews and nieces and their families.
