October 18, 1964 – August 19, 2026
Brett Alan Reiser, age 61, of Loxahatchee, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on August 19, 2026. Born in Ripon, Wisconsin, on October 18, 1964, to Robert and Karen Reiser, Brett lived a vibrant life defined by his deep love for his family and his unwavering work ethic.
A dedicated provider and skilled tradesman, Brett was a licensed pool contractor in the state of Florida. In 1998, he built “Pool Wise Inc.” his own pool service and repair business, running it successfully side-by-side with his wife and business partner, Brandy. Blessed with a brilliant, practical mind and a gifted set of hands, Brett could fix absolutely anything. He had a natural ability to look at any problem, project, or machine and effortlessly figure out how to build, do, or fabricate whatever was needed. His commitment to his craft was matched only by the devotion he showed to the people he loved.
To know Brett was to laugh with him. Armed with a famously dry sense of humor, he was undeniably hilarious and had a unique, effortless gift for making everyone around him laugh and smile. A lifelong lover of Rock & Roll, Brett loved to boast about his days as a legendary, self-proclaimed "rockin' DJ" in his youth, and he recently channeled that deep appreciation for music into learning to play the guitar.
Some of Brett's happiest early memories were spent during the summers at his parents' lake cabin. Wanting to pass down that same magic, he bought a lake house of his own as an adult, dedicated to creating those same joyful, lifelong memories for his own children on the water. When he wasn't working, strumming his guitar, or captaining his pontoon boat, he could be found passionately cheering on his favorite sports teams, the Green Bay Packers and the Miami Heat—a love for the game that ran deep, as he was a pretty impressive basketball player in high school, even earning himself a feature in the local Ripon newspaper during his glory days.
Brett had an incredibly soft heart for animals and considered them to be a vital part of the family. He leaves behind his current furry companions, his wiener dog Louie and his kitty cat Busta-Bean. He is undoubtedly reunited now with his treasured pets who went before him— six ridiculous guinea pigs and all his past much loved dogs, Choop, Chopper, Bruno, and Guido—who were surely waiting to greet him with tons of wet, sloppy kisses and endless games of fetch.
Above all else, Brett was a fiercely devoted family man. He was immensely proud—and frequently claimed he was exceptionally talented—to have produced such a beautiful set of twin girls, Daisy and Rose, eighteen years after his son, Shawn. His spirit shines brightly through his children. His son, Shawn, proudly carries on his father's signature quick wit and 'legendarily proper' fashion sense—even if Shawn’s personal translation of 'proper' remains highly questionable to the rest of the family. His daughter, Daisy, was proudly being mentored by her father to eventually take over and carry on the family pool business, while her twin sister, Rose, is currently a sophomore pursuing a degree in Criminology at The University of Florida (GO GATORS!).
Brett is survived by his wife and business partner, Brandy Reiser; his beloved children, Shawn, Daisy and Rose; his father, Robert Reiser, and his two sisters and their husbands, Sue and Chris Miller, and Brenda and Gary Osiecki. He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen.
Brett’s legacy of hard work, infectious laughter, and immense love will live on in the hearts of his family and his friends, as well as the local pool industry community he proudly served for close to forty years.
Brett leaves behind an immeasurable void in the lives of those who loved him, and he will be missed more deeply than words can ever express.
