I was saddened to learn of Caroline's passing. She and I were childhood friends and I couldn't help but recall a few of the many memories we shared together. . . playing house and school with our dolls, sleepovers, walking across town to school and on the way home stopping at the drugstore for a fountain coke, playing clarinet. Although we both went to different colleges we found our first teaching jobs in the Chicago area. Through the years I always looked forward to seeing Caroline at our high school reunion.

May the wonderful memories you shared through the years comfort you and bring you peace.

Warm regards,
Sharon Mills Kuncl

My husband Paul and Sue's husband Don are brothers, and through the many years our families have remained extremely close. We shared many happy occasions, as well as sad ones. We have always been there for each other. Paul died this past October and now the passing of Sue--the Zickert clan feels the loss of these two precious ones. Sue, we will miss you dearly. Kurt, Evelyn, Kara, David, Taylor, Ava, and, of course, Don were such a blessing to and for you during this difficult time.

I feel so blessed to be in Florida a month ago to hear Sue talk about all her life adventures she and Don had with my mom and dad (Donna and Mike Cason). Wonderful stories.
