Charles William Kerner, 78 years old, of Palm Beach Shores, FL, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2013. Born in Newark, NJ, he resided in Shrewsbury, NJ for many years before moving to Palm Beach Shores 25 years ago. Charles served proudly in the United States Navy and was an active member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Riviera Beach, FL. He is predeceased by his loving wife, Patricia J. Kerner who passed away in 2006. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Cheryl and Doug Thompson, Kelly and Steve Walowski, Tim and Greta Kerner, Jodi and Lyle Hibbard, grandchildren Molly, Shaun, Katie, Taylor, Andrew, Scott, Ryan, and MacKenzie. Family will be receiving friends at the Howard Price Funeral Home on Monday, July 29, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with a service starting at 4:30 PM. A Celebration of life for Charles and his predeceased wife Patricia will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 11:00 AM, at St. James Catholic Church, 30 Peters Pl, Red Bank, NJ 07701. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Moose Lodge, 3600 RCA Blvd, Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
